AWS' Piccolo & Critter Papercraft

Free papercrafts from our Tasmanian friends at Adam Walker Studios(AWS).

That red Pacman-looking creature with gnarly teeth is the Angry Critter, it's based on character/s that appear in their short film, Arcade Trap. Besides this Angry Critter papercraft there's also a Happy Critter model and lots of 2D grass elements.

Next is the Piccolo papercraft and his watering can, this character is from their award-winning short film, Sam and Piccolo - haven't seen the film, but definitely planning to see it when I get some free time from work.

You can also download a Bolex camera papercraft, based on the very popular Swiss made 16mm non-sync camera.

"The Seed" Stop Motion Papercraft

With funding from Adobe and a lot of time and patience, here's a sublime short film from artist Johnny Kelly called "The Seed". It uses a mix of stop motion papercrafts and 2D drawn animation.

A two-minute animated voyage through nature's life cycle, following the trials and tribulations of a humble apple seed.

Puzzle Cube Papercraft Toys

Two puzzle cube papercrafts from a Japanese designer that goes by the name TOMATO.

They're very simple enough that it's not really going to be a challenge putting them together, good for kids and beginners at papercrafting ^_^

For some reason, the puzzle cube on the left reminds of a Keith Haring artwork and the one on the right is like a failed attempt at Kamikara's Gear Cube.

Just A Reminder

For those following Icthus7' Legend of Zelda Koroks papercraft series, if and when you finish the whole thing, be sure to take a photo and send it to the designer - you'll get a bonus for you hardwork.

The Koroks include Hollo, Irch, Olivio, Oakin, Makar, Linder, and Rown, the bonus is a sylph papercraft model (pic above) - Sylphs are elemental beings believed to inhabit the air and are usually female.

Gundam 00: GN-001 Gundam Exia

gundam 00 cosplay - gn-001 gundam exia A Gundam piloted by Setsuna F. Seiei, the GN-001 Gundam Exia is designed for melee combat, with several swords, blades, and arm shields. It was later commented in the series that the Exia is equipped with a solid metal blade in order to have the ability to cut through GN particle fields.

I could continue on with the technicalities, but that would make this review boring and inappropriate compared to how awesome this cosplay is. It must have taken weeks to make this Gundam. Very nicely done!

Bleach: Ulquiorra Schiffer and Tia Halibel

bleach cosplay - ulquiorra schiffer and halibel Halibel serves as the 3rd high-ranking Espada as Ulquiorra serves as the 4th. They are both quiet in nature, preferring to think before they act.

While Ulquiorra's mask can be readily seen, Halibel's mask is covered by her coat and colar. Her mask extends from her nose down to her breasts.

I didn't want to place this cosplay on either of my other 2 blogs because of the amount of skin being exposed. However, Halibel has never been portrayed so accurately, and Ulquiorra rivals the first cosplayer I featured. Excellent job!

D. Gray-man: Lenalee Lee 02

d. gray-man cosplay - lenalee lee When she was young, Lenalee’s parents were killed, causing her to see the world very differently. Lenalee went insane when she was separated from her brother, Komui Lee, as she is forced to become an exorcist for having the ability to use Innocence. Her sanity was only restored when Komui became the Chinese Supervisor of the Black Order.

She makes a very cute Lenalee. I haven’t seen this anime yet, but it seems pretty popular with all the cosplays going around. I think I’ll put this on my to-watch list.

Pokemon Papercraft - Marill

Marill is an aquatic mouse Pokemon that is the evolved form of the Azurill. Marill's unique feature is its oil-filled tail-end which floats like a buoy. The tail itself is stretchable, so while the tail-end floats atop the water, the rest of its body dives underwater to feed on aquatic plants.

Marill is also one of the few Pokemon that have impermeable fur that keeps it dry even when swimming, this impermeability also allows it to swim at high speed because it lessens water resistance.

Zelda Papercraft - Sheik

Sheik is one of Princess Zelda's alter-ego in the Legend of Zelda video game series, this character appears in Ocarina of Time.

She muffles her voice, styles her hair diffrently, covers half her face, wears a form-fitting blue suit (probably have a chest plate to hide her oppai) - all to pass herself off as a Sheik (a young Sheika). Sheikas btw, are an ancient clan of ninja-like warriors that swore to protect the Hylian Royal Family, and were often referred to as the "shadows" of the Hylians.

Sheik plays the harp and helps Link learn new songs to get him through his quests. This Zelda Sheik papercraft is from Icthus7, it comes with the harp and a stand.

D. Gray-man: Allen Walker, the Crowned Clown

A young exorcist with a quiet nature, Allen Walker was abandoned by his biological parents due to his paralysis and his supposed deformity of his left arm. It is later found out that he possessed a parasitic-type of anti-akuma weapon whose true form is known as the Crowned Clown.

Allenisya sent in her photos of her cosplays as Allen Walker via Cosplay Holic. This is one of my favorite shots of her as photographed by Hexlord. You may visit her blog in Allenisya’s D.Gray-Life to see how she created her costume and her future cosplay plans!

SD ZZ Gundam Papercraft 2

Toyoppe did a major overhaul on his previous SD ZZ Gundam papercraft and added a few bonuses.

You can see from the comparison shot above that the height has changed, the old ZZ Gundam is the one on the left. The backpack and double beam rifle is still there.

And now the bonus parts, if you remember from the old post, I mentioned that the ZZ Gundam is a transformer-type - it can switch between various operating modes, here they are:

WoW Papercraft - Mark "S" Boomstick Gun

World of Warcraft Mark S Boomstick Papercraft

Here's a unique gun papercraft from the World of Warcraft, the Mark "S" Boomstick.

This gun binds when picked up and improves hit rating and critical strike rating by 18%. Attack power is also increased by 34. You'll need Froststeel Tube, Hair Trigger, Saronite Bar, and a Walnut Stock to create this gun.

It pays homage to the 1992 horror-comedy movie, Army of Darkness (Bruce Campbell), by referencing the famous "boomstick" gun scene:

Ash: Alright you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my boomstick! The twelve-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about a hundred and nine, ninety five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that?
