With all the submissions I’ve received from Winter Comiket, I realize that I’m way behind on my anime and manga series.

Perhaps you guys can help me out with this one? I mean… I've seen a lot of bizarre anime series before, but what’s a chef and a cowgirl doing together?

I see a bunny girl and a Miku behind them... Haha! How terrible of me to know the ones in the background and not the foreground!

Steins;Gate: Makise Kurisu

MoeHaku 2010 paid host to a fair amount of official cosplayers to accompany the anime-themed cars, bicycles, motorcycles, and even a bus on display for public viewing.

And as usual, it appears my loyal readers are on top of things, as I have a mountain of cosplay photos from the event! Thanks a lot guys!

Unfortunately, one of the first photos that caught my eye was a character I am unfamiliar with. Anyone care to take a guess as to who this cute girl is? Thanks to 2chMod for sending this in!

Strawberry Panic!: Okuwaka Tsubomi

This is probably the last unknown cosplay for the year. Wow, how long has it been since I started writing about cosplays? It's so nostalgic now that I think about it.

Anyway, pink haired girl with a black headband in an expensive looking school uniform... She's really pretty, and this is another image by photographer MPZero. I think I'll need to have sections for photographers too someday, but I have so many tags already that people might think it's confusing...

The Prince of Tennis: Niou Masaharu

There has been a steady stream of unknowns lately. I think I should get myself updated with the latest anime and games.

If only I had more time in my hands. But I guess that’s what they all say right?

Alright, we have a white haired bishounen this week! He could probably be anyone, but the design of his jacket might set him apart from everyone else. Any guesses would be appreciated, but I hope more people would leave their names this time when they comment! Hetalia: Axis Powers: Italy Romano and Italy Veneziano

I bet people guessed this was coming...

Winter Comiket's flood of cosplays are not over yet! There are several more photos sent to that were impressive and cute, but I have no idea who they are cosplaying!

Take these two for example. Pure white clothing and they are holding what appears to be... apples. tomatoes! Could they be cosplaying twin characters? Or is the same character cosplayed by two people?

I have no idea who this one is either, but she's from Winter Comiket 2009, and she looks like a fighter to me. Maybe she's from a game I haven't played yet?

I have to admit though, her costume is really cute. I love the ribbon details on her outfit. Who knew you could string the ribbons on your stockings?

Dragon Ball: Launch

I feel like she's glaring at me for not knowing who she's cosplaying as... A glare with a pout combination from a cute girl can be quite deadly to die hard otakus as far as I know.

And I know that I've seen here somewhere before, but it's at the tip of my brain! So if anyone recognizes this blonde, female character with a huge, red bow on her hair, please feel free to leave a comment and let me know! Links to references are welcome!

Macross Frontier: Ranka Lee and Sheryl Nome

MoeHaku certainly has a lot of great looking cosplays.

I could be wrong, but I think these two are probably from Macross Frontier; Ranka Lee and Sheryl Nome respectively, minus the anime-colored hair. Since I'm not entirely sure, I decided to put them in the Unknown Section for now and see what you guys think.

Gundam ZZ: Elpeo Puru

It looks like a new flood of cosplays from Winter Comiket 2010 will be taking up a lot of feature space in Cosplay Holic once again! And of course, as far as Comiket goes, there are also a lot of new characters that I can’t identify, so I’ll be seeking help from my readers once again!

This cute girl caught my attention immediately, so I will let her do the honors of starting the features from this convention. Anyone have an idea who she could be? Thanks to Alex for sending this!

Ikkitousen: Kanu Unchou

It appears that some of the cosplays from Comiket 2010 (78) have been mixed up with the ones from Winter Comiket 2010 (79). No matter though… there are still several photos I have not been able to get to anyway! I need more time to write and research about more series and games!

I thought I could find out who this girl is, but I’ve gone through most of the girls in Street Fighter and came up empty. Perhaps my readers know who and where she’s from? Thanks again to Alex for suggesting this!

HeartCatch PreCure!: Cure Marine

People would think that after all these years of writing for this cosplay blog that I would know a lot about different characters from anime, manga and games.
Well, you’d be wrong, because I get surprises like this in my inbox quite often!
To be completely honest, the first character that came to mind when I saw this was Sailor Mercury from Sailor Moon… a stylized version of her anyway! But I’m pretty sure this is not the case.
You guys know the drill, comment and discuss who she could be in the comments, but I hope you guys can leave your name next time so that I can credit you properly if you guess right! So many anonymous comments… I wonder if it’s because they don’t want people to know that they’re reading Cosplay Holic? In any case, thanks to Paton Saint for sending this in!

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni: Hanyu

I have a feeling I know who she's cosplaying as, but the name of the series escapes me.

I’m guessing she’s a demon because of those horns, but isn’t she wearing a miko’s kimono as well? Or maybe a variation of the traditional shrine maiden?

I can’t help thinking she looks a lot like Kagami from Lucky Stars though.

Togainu no Chi: Shiki

I know the cosplayer is Stay, but I don’t know what character she’s cosplaying as in this photo. Katana, leather jacket, leather gloves, crosses, and red eyes… This character seems very interesting and probably has a great story behind him or her.

Anyone have any good guesses?

And we’ve finished another Cosplay Holic Poll! I got 173 votes in total, but all the categories looked pretty close until the very end.

This photo is one of the first few cosplays that I’ve ever had in my collection.

I actually thought she was just a school girl from Japan. I didn’t think much of it until I went through the website and realized there were many different photos of anime characters in the web album.

I never really found out who she was cosplaying as, and I can’t remember which website I saw this from as it was several years back. If it were a recent photo, my first guess would have been Makinami Mari Illustrious from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Anyone got a better idea?

I had to skip last week's Unknown Cosplay Section because I didn't have any more unknowns until today.

I found this photo in my old hard drive. I didn't even know I still had cosplay photos in there! This is quite possibly very old already, so anyone's guess with who this girl is cosplaying is as good as mine.

Yes, I have absolutely no idea who the character is, so feel free to discuss this over at the comments section!

Also, we have the final results in Cosplay Holic's Poll! 168 votes total in only 30 days! You guys are amazing! Thanks for taking the time to vote! The winning vote is for me to update twice a day with 42%, and the runner up is the regular update of once a day at 36%!

I honestly don't know if I have enough cosplays from you guys to maintain a twice a day update, but I promise I will work very hard to reach this goal! For now, though, I may need to stick to once a day. That twice a day option was suppose to be a joke, but I guess the joke's on me now!
